During the MINECON 2012 event, held in Disneyland Paris from November 24 to 25, attendees with a registered Minecraft account received this exclusive cape. This event featured the official release of Redstone Update, keynotes from community members, building and costume contests, and more. The cape was revealed to be one of the unused capes from MINECON 2011.
