History of the Follower's cape

Mojang's 15th anniversary in 2024 ran on two streaming platforms. Twitch viewers got the Purple Heart cape, and TikTok viewers got this one. The stream rewards post described it only as a TikTok-themed cape, earned by tuning in to Minecraft streams from May 18 to June 18.

Like its Twitch sibling, it launched on Bedrock first, with Java promised by July 8. Java accounts received it on July 1, 2024, according to minecraft.wiki.

The design mirrors that origin, with a creeper face drawn in TikTok's blue and red.

Design

A white creeper face on a dark background with a glitchy wave effect, edged with blue and red strips like the TikTok logo.
