History of the Snowman cape

Minecraft has shown the splash text "Bring me Ray Cokes!" on its title screen since Java Edition Alpha v1.0.4, a nod to a TV presenter Notch liked as a kid. In 2011 the player JulianClark posted on the Minecraft subreddit claiming he had finally delivered Ray Cokes to Notch. The Minecraft Wiki says Cokes is reportedly his godfather.

The joke earned him this cape, which the wiki dates to August 19, 2011. According to the same page, the original JulianClark account was later lost, presumably deleted because it was not moved over during the Mojang account migration.

How do you get the Snowman cape?

It can't be earned. Mojang gave the Snowman cape to one player, JulianClark, in 2011 after he posted on Reddit claiming to have brought Notch the TV presenter Ray Cokes, a joke on the 'Bring me Ray Cokes!' splash text. It was never offered to anyone else.

Can you still get the Snowman cape?

No. It was a single personal gift in August 2011. The Minecraft Wiki also says the original JulianClark account was later lost, probably because it was never migrated to a Microsoft account, so the cape is effectively gone.
