Crafting Recipes
Minecraft 26.2 972 craftable items · 586 tiles
Minecraft has 972 craftable items in version 26.2. Crafting combines ingredients in a grid — 2×2 in your inventory, or 3×3 at a crafting table — to produce a new item. Shaped recipes require the ingredients in an exact arrangement; shapeless recipes accept them in any position. Search below for any item to see its exact grid layout, the ingredients it needs, and how many it makes per craft. Read the full crafting guide.
About Minecraft Crafting Recipes
Crafty tracks every vanilla Minecraft crafting recipe, updated for Minecraft 26.2. All 972 craftable items are covered across 586 recipe pages — variants that share a shape, like the twelve kinds of planks, sit on one page that cycles through each. Every page shows the exact grid layout, the ingredients you need, the quantity produced per craft, and which other items use it as an ingredient.
How crafting works
Most items are made at a Crafting Table by arranging ingredients in a 3×3 grid. Some recipes are shapeless — the ingredients can go anywhere. Tools and weapons that use netherite require a Smithing Table with a Netherite Upgrade template. Food and ingots are made at a Furnace, Blast Furnace, Smoker, or Campfire depending on the item.

Frequently asked questions
- Are these recipes up to date?
- Yes — this page is regenerated from Mojang's official recipe data on every Minecraft release. The current data is from 26.2.
- Does this cover Java and Bedrock?
- Crafting recipes for Java and Bedrock Edition are identical for almost every item. The grid, ingredients and outputs shown here apply to both editions.
- How do I find a specific recipe?
- Use the search bar above, or pick a category tab. Every item also has its own page (for example enchanting table, beacon, anvil) with the full recipe breakdown.
- Why do some items have multiple variants?
- Items like wood planks, dyed wool and stained glass share the same recipe with different coloured or wood-type ingredients. The modal cycles through every variant so you don't have to click through all 16 dye colors or 12 wood species individually.
