Frequently asked questions
Speed, fortune and prices
How are crops per hour calculated? +
Blocks per second times 3,600 gives blocks broken per hour. Each block drops its base amount times one plus your fortune divided by 100, plus special drops from your tool and armor. The calculator adds those up for the crop you pick.
Why is the limit 20 blocks per second? +
The server processes 20 ticks a second and you can break at most one crop per tick, so 20 blocks per second is the ceiling. Most players average a little below it while farming.
Should I use NPC or Bazaar prices? +
NPC prices never change, so they are the least you will earn. Switch Sell to Bazaar to value your drops at current Bazaar instant-sell prices, which move with supply and demand and can pay more or less.
What fortune should I enter? +
Enter your total fortune for the crop you farm: general farming fortune plus that crop's own fortune. The fortune calculator adds it up for you.
What do dicers and farming armor add? +
Melon and Pumpkin Dicers sometimes drop extra blocks, more at higher levels. Farming armor adds special crops such as Cropie, Squash and Fermento, which sell for more coins.
