Where the questions come from and which edition they cover

How many trivia questions are there? +

There are 92 questions in the pool — a mix of four-choice questions and true-or-false statements covering mobs, blocks, redstone, biomes, enchanting and Minecraft's own history. A round draws from the pool without repeats, so a 10-question round is 10 different questions every time.

Where do the questions come from? +

They are the question set from the Crafty Discord bot's trivia command, which has been running in Minecraft servers' Discords for years. A handful were dropped in the move to the web because they relied on a screenshot that no longer loads; the ones that showed an item or block now draw the real inventory sprite instead.

Is this Java or Bedrock trivia? +

Java Edition, unless a question says otherwise. Several answers differ between editions — cacti placed underwater, the meaning of the §m and §n formatting codes, and how redstone behaves near a wall are all edition-specific — so a Bedrock player will hit a few questions where the Java answer is the one being asked for.

Can I play without an account? +

Yes. Nothing here is stored on a server: the round runs entirely in your browser, and your best percentage is kept in local storage on this device only. Clearing site data resets it.
