Brewing path
What goes in the brewing stand, in order
- Base potion. Start with a Potion of Night Vision.
- Fermented Spider Eye. Add it to the Potion of Night Vision in the brewing stand to get Potion of Invisibility.
- Extended. Add Redstone Dust for a longer duration.
A long Night Vision potion plus a fermented spider eye gives long Invisibility directly.
Other forms
- Drinkable. Brewed as above.
- Splash. Add gunpowder. Same duration, thrown.
- Lingering. Add dragon's breath to a splash potion. The cloud applies ¼ of the duration.
- Tipped arrow. 8 arrows around 1 lingering potion in a crafting table. ⅛ of the duration.

- Potion of Night Vision Full brightness everywhere, underwater included.
- Potion of Leaping Jump higher and take less fall damage.
- Potion of Fire Resistance Immune to fire, lava and blaze fireballs.
- Potion of Swiftness Walk 20% faster per level.
- Potion of Slowness Slows the target by 15% per level.
- Potion of the Turtle Master Near-immovable tank: heavy Resistance, heavy Slowness.
- Potion of Water Breathing Your air bar stops draining underwater.
- Potion of Healing Restores 4 health (2 hearts) per level instantly; harms undead.
- Potion of Harming Deals 6 damage (3 hearts) per level instantly; heals undead.
- Potion of Poison Damage over time that stops at half a heart; undead are immune.
- Potion of Regeneration Heals over time: 1 health every 2.5 s at level I.
- Potion of Strength +3 melee attack damage per level.
- Potion of Weakness −4 melee damage. Splash it on a zombie villager to start a cure.
- Potion of Slow Falling Drift down slowly and take no fall damage.
- Potion of Wind Charging The affected mob bursts like a wind charge when it dies.
- Potion of Weaving Spawns cobwebs around the mob when it dies; cobwebs slow it less.
- Potion of Oozing Two medium slimes pop out when the affected mob dies.
- Potion of Infestation A 10% chance on every hit taken to release silverfish.
- Potion of Luck +1 luck for loot tables. Creative inventory and commands only.
