Frequently asked questions
SkyBlock time, contests and the Harvest Feast
How long is a day in Hypixel SkyBlock? +
A SkyBlock day lasts 20 real minutes. A month has 31 days and a year has 12 months, so a SkyBlock year lasts 124 real hours, a little over five days.
When are Jacob's farming contests? +
A Jacob's contest starts on every third SkyBlock day, which is once every real hour. Each one lasts one SkyBlock day, 20 minutes, and features three crops.
Why aren't the contest crops shown? +
The crops for each contest aren't available from the game's public API. You can see them in game on Jacob's calendar; this page shows exact start times so you can plan around them.
When is the Harvest Feast? +
The Harvest Feast runs every SkyBlock year from Early Autumn through Late Autumn. During it, in-season crops can drop extra rare items while you farm.
How is the in-game time worked out? +
SkyBlock time counts from a fixed start in June 2019. Each real 50 seconds is one in-game hour, so the clock here matches the one in your SkyBlock menu.
