The Builder Cape was released as a promotion tied to both TwitchCon 2026 and the Minecraft Movie Build Challenge, sharing its design with the Crafter Cape. It was earned online by watching an eligible Minecraft livestream between May 30 and June 14/22, 2026, with codes redeemable through June 30. Notably, participating in the actual build challenge wasn't required to get the cape.
