History of the Mojang Office cape

The Eerie Mojang Office Party was a Bedrock event server that recreated Mojang's office with a spooky twist, timed with The Garden Awakens drop. It ran from December 9 to December 20, 2024. Mojang's event post laid out a sticker system: one daily challenge earned a cap, three earned a shirt, and five earned the cape.

Because a new challenge unlocked each day, the cape could not be finished until December 13, when the last one went live. Mojang said the cape would also show up on Java after a launcher restart.

The cape leaked weeks earlier. On November 25, 2024, minecraft.net's redemption page briefly listed an Eyeblossom Cape tied to a physical cape from the official shop, and the text came down within hours, according to minecraft.wiki. The eyeblossom itself is the flower added in The Garden Awakens.

Design

One large open eyeblossom surrounded by smaller ones on a dark background, a nod to the flower that blooms at night in the pale garden.
