Geschichte des Cherry Blossom-Capes

The Cherry Blossom cape came out of the 2023 Mob Vote, where players picked between the crab, the armadillo and the penguin. Voting opened on October 13, 2023, and ran until shortly after Minecraft Live began on October 15. Players could vote on a Bedrock-only event server, in the Minecraft Launcher or on minecraft.net, and the server stayed open for about a day after the show.

On Bedrock, the cape was the reward for joining that event server. Java was a different story. Mojang had not promised a Java version, and the cape reached Java accounts quietly on October 26, 2023, going to people who had voted rather than people who had simply joined the server, according to minecraft.wiki. That split meant some Bedrock owners never got it on Java.

On Bedrock it is called the Cherry Cape. The armadillo won the vote.
