Geschichte des Copper-Capes
Mojang tied this cape to The Copper Age drop through a community event called the Copper Cape Quest, which started on September 30, 2025. The cape design stayed hidden while players worked through the first challenges together.
Once the community cleared the second challenge, Minecraft revealed the cape on October 13 and opened three ways to earn it until October 20. Bedrock players could place a copper golem statue, anyone could watch a few minutes of a participating Twitch or TikTok stream for a code, and people at TwitchCon San Diego could collect a code in person from October 17 to 19.
Java players could not see the cape at first. According to the Minecraft Wiki, it began appearing on Java accounts on October 15, and Bedrock statue rewards were promised within 30 days of the event ending.
Design
A chiseled copper pattern like the one on copper chests, oxidising as it runs down the cape, from fresh copper at the top to fully weathered green at the bottom.

No. The earning window closed on October 20, 2025, and the last date to redeem stream or TwitchCon codes was November 19, 2025. Mojang has not announced any return of the Copper Cape.
What was the Copper Cape Quest?
The Copper Cape Quest was a community challenge Mojang ran for The Copper Age drop. Players worked through shared goals for about two weeks starting September 30, 2025, and finishing the second challenge unlocked the cape for everyone to earn.
