Geschichte des Crafter-Capes
Minecraft took part in TwitchCon Rotterdam on May 30 and 31, 2026, and broadcast its first Minecraft Live from TwitchCon there. Mojang announced the Crafter and Builder capes as a pair in April: one for people on the show floor, one for everyone watching from home.
The Crafter Cape was the in-person half. Attendees received an inventory ribbon at badge pickup, earned emerald stickers at Minecraft sessions and arena activities, and swapped a full ribbon at the Cape Trader booth for a code. Minecraft.net said the quest ran all weekend with one cape per person.
The Minecraft Wiki calls it the first convention-exclusive cape since MineCon 2016. Its online twin is the Builder cape.
Design
An iron pickaxe over a crafting table background. It matches the Builder Cape except that the pickaxe is turned the other way.

FAQ zum Crafter-Cape
How do you get the Crafter Cape?
Only by attending TwitchCon Rotterdam on May 30 and 31, 2026. Attendees collected three emerald stickers by joining Minecraft sessions or arena activities, then traded their filled ribbon at the Cape Trader in the Minecraft Village for a code card, redeemed at minecraft.net/redeem.
Can you still get the Crafter Cape?
No. It was handed out only in person at TwitchCon Rotterdam, which ended on May 31, 2026. Players who could not attend had the Builder Cape instead, which shares the design but flips the pickaxe, and that online promotion has also ended.
What is the difference between the Crafter and Builder capes?
They use the same pickaxe-on-crafting-table art with the pickaxe flipped. The Crafter Cape was given only at TwitchCon Rotterdam, while the Builder Cape was earned by watching Minecraft livestreams online.
