History of the Valentine cape
The Minecraft Wiki says a Mojang employee gave the Valentine cape to the player LolFoxy2 on August 9, 2022 after fixing migration problems on their alternate account. It was reportedly removed about 20 minutes later, once its rarity was noticed.
It showed up again on the account JoinGrave on January 23, 2023, apparently by mistake, and was gone two days later. The texture file itself carries an embedded timestamp from October 2015, the same month as the Birthday and Oxeye textures.
Design
A red heart on a pink and cream background, with small green and yellow details at the bottom.

Valentine cape FAQ
How do you get the Valentine cape?
You can't. The Minecraft Wiki says the Valentine cape was only ever given briefly, once by a Mojang employee as a thank-you and once apparently by mistake, and removed both times. It was never part of an event or store.
Can you still get the Valentine cape?
No. Nobody is known to keep it today. Both known grants were taken back within days, and Mojang has never released it to players.
